Database Server (Open DataBase Connectivity) allows labels to be printed from data stored in various kinds of databases.
It supports most database systems including Microsoft Access, Microsoft FoxPro, Microsoft Excel. dBase, ORACLE, Paradox, databases supporting an SQL server and ASCII text.
Options for printing All or Selected records gives ultimate flexibilty. Queries allow data selection corresponding to a user specified criteria.
Connection Setup
A wizard allows ODBC database connections to be created. Wizard steps include file, table(s) and field(s) selection, query creation and data preview.
Labels can then be designed and fields on the label linked to the connection via the Editing and Printing Module
Connection settings are saved for future use. A connection setting can be used for multiple labels.
New Feature
ODBC Server can now support automatic cutting on selected printers.
Options include, no cutting, cut every label, cut after data change and cut after print job is completed.
